Profile
Philosophy
Since its inception more than twenty years ago, the office of MJLA has been driven by the pursuit of relevant architectural design. Throughout these years, the firm has maintained an excellent reputation for high design standards, refined details, unique use of materials, accurate documentation and exacting project management throughout construction.
MJLA is a process oriented Firm. We offer modern interpretations based on contextual variables, client driven programs and the indigenous climate. Our interpretations create catalysts which generate interesting architectural concepts that are client and site specific.
The result of this process is a spatial and form driven architecture that is unique in its attitude and focused on creating distinct, enduring, relevant and regionally modern design solutions closely related to the ideals and interests of our clients.
Green Building
Environmental and ecological awareness have become an important measure of a building. However, in an age where novel energy systems, insulation methods, and sustainable building material selections are emerging constantly, the architect's role is redefined and reinforced. To navigate the sea of options; to create solutions that maximize green credentials, we bring a full breadth of green building understanding. This allows us to build to the client's desires, needs, and budget.
